sisflomi
Is there anyway to use the 4th of July to our benefit for doing disputes with cras? Will CHOD only work with xmas and thanksgiving. I see 4th of July is a friday if that makes a differance.

Thanksgiving and Christmas is just the best time because on Thanksgiving most companies give not only the Thursday of, but the Friday after Thanksgiving off, and then there is another couple of days off in December to take advantage of, plus the whole "people too busy with the holidays to do their jobs" bit. laura66
Ok, so when do you actually submit the request? On July 4th, the week before, the month before? What tends to work?
JoeSchmoe
Good question Laura, I was wondering the same thing....maybe the month before?
fixmycredit
They should be in place a month before because when theyare busy they wont be able to update the account andit will get deleted. This also worked for me over memorialday weekend.

Anonymous
I'm new to this and I know this sounds like a dumb question but are we talking 30 business days or 30 calendar days?
sisflomi
30 cal days. I dont know which fellow here said it, but they put it this way:30 days is 30 days FCRA does not say business days. It does say they have 5 business days to mail after the 30 days are up though.
