You can't get a true fico for EXPERIAN. They only was is if a creditor pulled it and was nice enough to tell you what it is. If you want true fico scores you can get it from www.myfico.com You have the option of getting TransUnion or Equifax. There is also a true fico at www.tranunion.com you have to read and make sure you pick fico and not tu score. You can also get a true fico with www.equifax.com

You will pay about 13.00 for the score with a report. If you go to myfico.com and download the free book they have about credit scores, they give you a code in your email that links you to get 10% off if you buy the reports from them. Its 11.65 if you do that. Its supposed to be around 3.00 at transunion.

So can you get that 3.00 FICO score from Transunion by itself without paying for a full report? If so where on the site can I find that, everything I saw was over 9 bucks.

LOL, I know I was just in that thread before I made this one, but my eyes were getting cross trying to sift through all the posts, no offense :)

Okay, go to TU website and order your report with your TU score. Fill out all the info and at the bottom of it, it should ask you if you have been denied credit or unemployed or anything.

Just say you were denied credit and make up something, I put I was denied credit from Target in May 2003.

It will then take you to where you can purchase your TU score and report for $3.

Also keep in mind, I bought my TU score and it was 473 and a couple hours later I paid the $12.95 for my real TU FICO and that was almost 80 points higher.

Hope this helps, if you need anymore info just ask! :p

And, if you buy the fako score for 6.00 at creditexpert.com it will give you a file number and you can do disputes online with it, or even just look at your report for free.

That's only through Experian right?

Ok I just got the TU score, ewww 487.....it says Personal Score, is that the same as FICO?

Also I don't see my repo'd auto loan on there, is that because it's in dispute or does that mean it got deleted like Experian did last week :)....hope so!

Its prob a fako score, thats what morrow was saying. She bought the 3.00 and it was 80 points lower. If the repos not there then it got deleted. TU leaves most things on there till the 30 day.

I hope so! Wooohooo! 2 down, one to go if that's the case, now on to big daddy Equifax which happens to be the one most auto loaners use :(. Has anyone had to dispute through CSC Credit for Equifax?

I wonder why this repo account got deleted so quick?? I'm talking a week or less!!

Well, I guess as you found out, Joe, you can't get a $3.00 TU FICO score at TU. That trick only seems to work for the FAKO score. I'm fairly sure I tried the "denied credit" trick here:

https://www.transunioncs.com/Store/Order.asp?Product=1

but it won't work for the report with true FICO, only with the worthless "Personal Credit Score".

Always be careful to look for that FICO word with the trademark symbol !

I wasn't aware of the discount thing at myFICO.com that sisflomi mentioned. Sounds pretty darn good and as far as I can tell that's now the cheapest way I know of to get my TU and EQ FICOs !

Thanks Sis !

They have it listed as 6/02 but they came and got it in 11/02. I'm scratching my head trying to figure out what happened to make them delete so quick....now I'm kinda worried that it will come back as a collection under an agency.

Yeah I had to use CSC and pretty much all of Texas has to as well (I played around with some zip codes).

What's the discount trick at myfico.com? I must have looked past that.
