stupid mistake...

Okay, I made a newbie mistake a while back and sent letters to have the CRAs update an OC saying that I settled the balance before collections. They all three updated it to "legally paid in full for less than the full balance", but status is still showing bad debt or C/O on these. How do I dispute them now? Can't do not mine now, so do I try for paid in full BEFORE collections? Will that get it to a positive instead of a negative? Or should I try never late or something else???? HELP please...anyone?! TIA!

Hey Adsoft! I've been lurking around on here, just not much to say :) I'm preparing for round 2, getting my DV letter for an OC together....finally finished finalizing the letter to the bank on the whole Chex mess thing and got it sent out the other day....

Now on this one, just trying to figure out how to handle the round 2 dispute. All 3 CRA updated as per my first letter...doubtful whether they even checked with the creditor! I'm debating on trying a paid in full as agreed notation versus the paid CO. Guess it doesn't really matter, just thinking it will look funny now if I say Not Mine.
