Geez, unless you've got like 50 inquiries you could have removed in a jiffy, don't know ?! Have you tried playing with the simulated score stuff on the CRA sites or PG? With so little time, the CRAs can't complete their 30 days for another round of disputes....Sorry can't be of more help here :(

I don't see that happening; to re-score usually takes 30 days, sometimes you can get them to move quicker.

I would skip sending out good will letters for the lates, instead call the creditors directly (try to talk with someone higher up then regular customer service). Let them know that you have made good on your accounts, but due to loss of income (explain your reason) that you where late but have since caught up. Ask if they would please update your credit report to remove the late listings - you are applying for a mortgage loan and that this is holding you back. Also if they can fax you over confirmation should they agree to help you out on this matter.

With the letter you can show the bank - the changes to be made.

You need to also find out if the lender expects you to re-score (meaning update the CRAs) or if confirmation letters from the creditors will do (showing the changes that will be made).

If they require re-scoring and insist on the higher scores, ask if they offer re-scoring services. Meaning that they will call the creditors investigate the fact of the matter, then forward all documentation to one of the CRAs - who will in turn investigate and notify the other CRAs of the changes needing to be made. This service can have the re-scoring done 5 to 7 days - but cost considerable money to have done.

Other wise if you can't get this service, then go it alone. Call in your disputes; followed up with faxing any documentation you have gained on your own. Tell them that it regards a mortgage if they can put in a rush order for you. Tell them the name of the lender and the time period you have to get this completed.

Also ask that they update the lender of the corrections being made. *** Rule states that it is your right to request all creditors dating 6 months back on the inquiry section to receive notice of changes when you dispute. This way the lender don't keep trying to pull your credit report before the changes have gone into effect.

This is the best that I can suggest for such a short period of time, honesty I don't know if what you need is do able in such a short period of time.

What type of loan are you applying for? FHA loans are not so score driven, but most require outstanding debt to be paid.

Wish you the best of luck, don't loose heart. Just give it your best shot & then see if the lender will still work with you.
