friend told of this site, been kinda hanging around absorbing information. Heres a question I was hoping to get some feedback on and perhaps a little advice.

I sent in my dispute with Experian certified letter which was signed by them on 5/5/03 which was a monday, counted out the 30 days and that brings them to 6/3 (im assuming its 30 days as said by FCRA and not 30 "working days")

Heres where I am at, I have signed up on their website EX and 2 accounts in dispute are still being investigated while one was verified yesterday which was on the 31st day they received my dispute, however they dont give you a day, just the month..sneaky SOB's! :) Did Ex cover their butts by sending me a letter recevied on 5/25 saying that the completion date in set for 6/8 on the items i disputed signed by them on 5/5?

Does this constiute them "contacting" me within 30 days? or does the 30 days mean they must have "completed" their investigation? It looks like with one still pending it may be another week before i get the letter from them, thats well past the 30 days. And the letter they sent me last week says my dipsutes will be completed by 6/8

thats past the 30 days, did they cover their butts by sending me correspondence within the 30 days? Do I have leverage here? Thanks to any that may help me.

Ok well if they signed for it on 5-5 then 30 days would be 6-4 which so today is the 31st day. It is 30 days from the date they recieve it. There time was up yesterday not on the 8th and no they didn't cover there butts especially where you have the certified reciept saying they signed for it on 5-5. Good luck!!!!
