kimber6337
Thanks guys for listening to me whine about my judgement for the past year. I finially got the "guts" to dispute the judgement. There was no record of it at the court house, nor their online system...so I disputed it and awaited a slew of lawyers after me for the 1000$ judgement amount. Now its gone from all three reports....<SIGH> I'm very happy!!!

kjunior
Kimber, how did you go about getting the civil judgment removed. i need to see if i can do that before bk reflects on my reports. it only hsows up on one report.
Anonymous
that is awesome that it was removed. my first dispute results came today and for some reason i don't feel as good as I thought I would about the deletion of a 2,000 hospital bill, but the CA has been calling today, and yesterday... so i wonder about that, how long that will last... and as for that judgment, you are so way lucky. listen to this craziness: when we pulled my ex's reports he had a judgment that he had NO idea of whatsoever on there, from an apartment complex that he did indeed live at. He called the complex, then the lawyers... then he faxed the credit report tradeline to them and they are taking care of it. but it had been there for almost 4 years and he NEVER knew... isnt't that nuts? So yes these CRA's do make mistakes...
kimber6337
Try to verify it before they do, if you can't (ie online) chances are they won't either.

andyb
How can you verify a judgement on line????????
kimber6337
Most (bigger?) county courts have their records online. They are public information and you can do searches by either docket number or plantiff or defendant.
