Anonymous
Any one have extreme ease with removing charge-offs and collection accnts from TU with out a sweat? Took them about 2 weeks to remove all my charge-offs and collections. My question is how come EQ and EX keep comming back as "checked" when I dispute them? Don't they go through the same process of validating disputes?
Petunia
It only took about two weeks for TU to take off my collection. But I don't know about anything else I disputed. It hasn't shown anything else on PG. I also got my collection deleted off EX. They said it was to remain, but removed it. Strange. I can't get EQ to remove it, but I am only on round 2 of disputes. Fingers crossed.
LetoAtreides
Well, I am going to venture a guess on this one.I just got a letter back from TU when I instituted an investigation with TU.The letter states that TU investigates all disputes either by contact via mail or telephone. In their letter they didn't mention anything about verifying against the tapes, which is usually what EX and EQ do. If that is the case, it is MUCH harder to get verification via mail contact or phone in 30 days, especially since of my 7 disputed items 4 of them returned my DV letters due to having on incorrect address. If the CRA has the wrong address ( that's where I got it from ) how the heck are they going to get it verified. This is just a guess though.
