Well folks, you are looking at the proud owner of a 2001 Nissan Altima 60k miles!! (yeah I know it's alot of miles but it's a reliable car)

$2500 down

215 a month

36 months term

I did exactly like you folks said......I walked in with my 3-1 reports in hand and I said, I wont let you pull a new report untill you guarantee you can get me below $220 a month. Sure enough it worked!

Thanks Ya'll.............

That is awesome Joe! I am so happy for you! :D I plan on doing the same as you, real soon cause I'll need a car soon mine is on its way out...putt putt, cough cough...RRrrr! So that is great to know that walking in with your CR's worked for you. I'll do the same...NO hard pulls until positive results from dealer!

Congrats VROOOOOM! :p

Thats just great Joe, so glad that this worked out in your favor. Now, keep them payments up, even get a month ahead if you can. Hows the interest rate for the loan?

Well the Bank had to verify some things, which is a breeze, then I sign all the paper work tommorrow....but I have the car now. As long as I don't change my job, phone, or residence in the next few days, it's a done deal.

I will post details ASAP...

That's not a lot of mileage for a Nissan. Some dealers would even advertise it as a "low mileage" car.

That's exactly what I'm going to do as I also need a car--doesn't have to be as recent a model as yours as my driving is limited but it's worth showing your reports rather then going in with nothing. I've also heard dealers are hard-pressed for sales right now, and may be anxious to move cars off the lot.

Happy and safe driving! The car you purchased has excellent ratings so hopefully it will give you many, many years of pleasure.

I have 150K miles on my Altima and it still drives like new. Didn't have ANY problems with it

Thanks again yall....it does feel good! I've always had Nissans, I had a 95 Altima, then a 97 Maxima (during the good time$$) and drove both of those untill 100+k miles.
