robshope
I have seen this asked but not answered. What happens in this case? You try and reach a settlement including deleteion or something positive and they tell you this.
kb9tbq
This does happen, there are some creditors which can't be negotiated with, it just depends on yourself how you handle it. If you want to settle on this debt regardless of the fact. Also depends on if you are out of the SOL, if you can let it go and hope to bump off the credit report or that it will expire soon enough. If you are still within the SOL, then you have to consider how far they are willing to take this issue, if they try to force you into court to get a judgement. - At this point you definitely loose ground scrambling just not to get the judgement filed.
