curlytop
Which state's SOL would apply for the following scenario:Permanent resident in CALIF. Working in North Carolina for a week, went to ER at a local hospital. (Somehow showing as unpaid on CRs, in Collections. Insurance must not have paid.)I am willing to pay in full if they remove from all CRAs, but am afraid to rile them up if it is still in SOL. What do you think? Anonymous
I suspect California will be the one the SOL goes by, cause that is where you live, what was the date of service at the Hospital?
creditfix
I believe Cali is 2 years if no signed agreement and 4 years if there is a signed contract. The SOL in Cali should be the one that applies.
curlytop
I believe the date of service at the hospital was at the end of 1999, but they are reporting it as 8-2000. Any ideas on how to handle this one?
