sisflomi Posted August 5, 2003 Report Share Posted August 5, 2003 This was not really as bad as I thought it would be. It was split sometime in May I think!!! Three different files for me. Because of the fraud alert on my report I cant get my true FICO for now. Before they started to fix the split I was at 19 accounts. I think 6 were good, plus a bk on there. They started to fix the files and it went up to 21 accounts, then 24, and they just kept coming back!!!!!!!! LOL, why is she laughing you say???? Cause they even duplicated a few good accounts by the time they were done. Now they have it all fixed back up, my investigation is complete. I have 14 accounts left, 8 are good, 2 are collections, 2 deliquient, and two still in bk. The bk is also gone!!!!!!!!!!!! I have proof that two of the baddies were deleted and I was not notified in 5 days of reinsert, so when I am done, should be two more deleted back off. My FICO was what you see below when it started, I hope this might have nugged me pretty close to 600. If so, I only have equ left to get into the 600 club!!! Thanks TU, for finally doing somthing right for me!!!!!!!! And special thanks to KB for all the info in helping me get this report fixed.Oh, and ZERO inqs on this report now!!!!!!! sisflomi Posted August 5, 2003 Author Report Share Posted August 5, 2003 My first clue was TU sent me a credit report with like 2 bad accounts, and 4 or 5 good ones. It had me listed in their files since May 03. I knew something was wrong. I called them the first time, they said yes its split, I will fix it and send you an updated report. Well, the updated report had both of the files, each had different stuff and different names on them. They were also printed back to back. The last page of the first file actually had the first page of the second file. I called again, and this guy found I had three files and again said he would fix it. Still didn't get fixed. I got ticked off, and sent in a nasty online dispute to them. In the name, i put the old name I wanted off and tried to get off for the last 5 months and said this is not me, my file is not only split but mixed with someone elses name. And then went on down the line with all that was bad or wrong. I could see on pg that things were moving along, my bk was gone, and my name was only what I currently use. I called last week and they said the split file was fixed but only one creditor had gotten back to them at that point.
