Raimondi65
First success story with DV! Midland failed to respond to my request for DV and I saw a jump in my PG score and Midland is gone! They gave me such problems I thought they would be the last to go! I have several other DV pending with CRA's so let's hope they go as well!
tarheel99
Congrats on getting rid of them. They showed up on my CRs multiple times for the same accounts. Thankfully, they completely disappeared from my CRs after the first round of disputes. Now if I can just get the OC to go away, I'll be in great shape. bizwiz41
Congrats!I too got Midland off all 3 CRAs, but can't brag since it was a "no brainer", the account TRULY "was in error" (debt had been paid to OC years ago!), BUT....knowing what I know now from all these boards, I wish I had sued them! In fact, I'm still thinking about it!!! They did cause me damage during my refinancing, and only thanks to "Gulf State/OSI" did it get corrected. Yeah that's right...a CA actually helped! Of course now I know they could have been liable also for damages!By the way Re: Midland......the kicker is that right in the middle of having PROVEN the account was not valid.....my mortgage company contacted them regarding a PAYOFF AMOUNT, and MIDLAND WAS READY TO TAKE THE $$.....Thay actually told me it was going to be "Settled" and not "worry about it anymore"........So I replied that now I "was not worried" because I would bring every legal action I could find against them, and I added on the "recorded call" I "retain right of copy of taped call for my review"So, Glad to hear another demon defeated!!
