Cascadesss
Why bother with that?Just call EQ on the phone and dispute the INQs. They WILL take them off.Cas
Raimondi65
I signed up last week and I definatly see the soft inquiries on my report from pulling it. No bumpage yet on EQ still have about a month or more to go for EQ. I noticed 1 pull shows 2 pulls on my report. Hopefully that will get me there faster. majiking
I pull an Equifax Gold every day and yes they all show up. But if you go online and dispute just go to the section where you dispute TLs and then enter "creditor - inquiry" and under reason type "not authorized / not permissable". For example: Capital One Inquiry Not Authorized. The inquiries should be off in between three days to two weeks. I disputed 3 or 4 at a time each in the same time period like July. Then after they deleted I did May, June. Etc. Had all inquiries removed in less than 6 weeks. Now all there is is about 60 equifax and 50 consumerinfo (pricaygurad) soft inquiries. My score went up about 45 points after I had the inquiries removed. Also, you can have two different disputes going at the same time with equifax online dispute. Just keep one for tradelines and one for inquiies. Don't mix inquiry disputes with anything else or it will delay it for the full 30 days.
Raimondi65
For some reason I cannot start on online investigation with EQ. The only option they give me is to email. Does anyone know why they do that? Is there a limit to how many online disputes you can have?
majiking
The limit seems to be 2 online disputes. However, if you go to email from the "cannot initiate dispute" section it will allow you to dispute via email.

majiking
Yes, EQ Gold uses same dispute process. It would be nice if there was some sort of preferential dispute process though. LOL. Anyway, I've been trying it for $9.95 a month and I like the ability to pull a true EQ report every day. There are actually quite a few differences between the EQ gold pull and PG. Anyway, since I am hitting EQ hard right now I thought it was worth the $$$ for three months.I really like the email option because I send little one liners like "never lived at that address" and "my emploer is acme corp." They seem to actually read those and make changes within 24 hours. The dispute screen says: Dipute entered 00/00/00 estimated completion 00/00/00 and then I check back the next bus day and the dispute screen shows nothing and the changes are made. Maybe I've been pretty lucky with this. Possibly the email goes to the EQ gold customer service and it expedites things a little. 8)
