30 days this Saturday

... or modify, as appropriate, it's the CRAs "choice" ! See FCRA 611(a)(5)(A): http://www.ftc.gov/os/statutes/fcra.htm#611. Also, per 611(a)(6)(A), you need to allow 5 business days after the 30th calendar day following their receipt of the dispute for their response to reach you.

I put "choice" in quotes because 611(a)(5)(A) says, "...as appropriate, based on the results of the reinvestigation." To me that would imply it's not ENTIRELY the CRA's choice as their "choice" would ostensibly have to be consistent with the reinvestigation results and perhaps one could argue that the CRAs choice was "not appropriate" if it were established what the reinvestigation results were.

In any event, almost_there, you would want to have your demand to delete or modify (CMRRR recommended) ready to put into the USPS's hands NEXT Saturday, 8/16, if you hadn't heard from EX by end of business, Friday the 15th.
