That is up to you and what your needs are in the matter of communicating.

If you have time to create paper trail and better document your disputes; then mailing is the way to go. Especially if you feel that you might need leverage to show they failed to investiagate and return results in the 30 day period. To get them to delete on technicallity.

If you are in a rush for them to begin the investigation then faxing is the way to go, you can still establish proof by insuring that you use a fax machine that logs the time & date as well as confirms successful submission of the fax.

Thanks for the help. I think that I am going to mail them because I want to create a paper trail and I really don't have that many to mail. I want to do it the right way the first time instead of having to back pedal and wish I would have done something first. I have been a sponge learning all of this and I am putting together my own collection of information so I can pass it along to my family and friends.

Joint the group of Credit Junkies, lol

Yes, send them all this way if they have access to the internet! :-)

Yes, it does take time, but well worth the education which you take away from here - will follow you the rest of your life that is for sure.

Just FYI,

Along with online disputing, I have sent all of my written disputes via fax. I save the -was confirmed- transmittal with my correspondence. Out of about everything I have faxed, I have been successful in removal or correction with the exception of 2 for inquiry removal. TU sent me a letter that they do not remove, EX did not respond and EQ removed the inquiries in question.

I figured that if I can't get it corrected via fax I can always send a follow up crrr.

Hope that helps!
