wranglertj
I applied for a Chase card early in July. At the time (don't know my TU score) I had 8 negative accounts and 4 positive accounts showing. Today, I removed 2 negatives, including a repo and a most recent Sears charge off, leaving me with 6 neg's...2 of those being marked in dispute (so not affecting score, right?) and 1 paid off. Just pulled Wk and they are reporting one of my neg's as a positive though so I don't know. Plus I had 6 positive entries re-inserted onto my TU report. These were fairly older accounts but they show me having a good credit history, which brings me up to 10 positive accounts. What do you think the odds of me getting one of these cards are? For those of you that have these cards, what did your reports look like?
stacykat
I can only tell you my experience because I'm not familiar with Chase or BOA's policies. I got a Chase Platinum with a $9500 limit having 2 med collections equalling about $100, and 2 other collections equalling about $4500. These all were old collections though, from about 4-6 years old, since then have been deleted from TU. I had a car loan with a couple late pay's but paid off and a couple gas/dept. store cards paid on time. I was actually quite surprised that I was approved for platinum as I didn't think I would even be approved for a regular Chase card. Not sure if that helps you much, maybe someone else here has some more input?

dm91497
I live in Cali and Chase pulled EQuifax. I had a score of about 640 with one paid charge off two years ago. They gave me a whopping $200 limit. This was the Chase Walmart Visa Card. If your looking for TU try Generations Bank online. I got approved for $2500 limit and they always check TU (from what I've heard).
