creditmess
Some of you might know that I had my Judgement deleted from EX. On the front page in the morning (in the Credit Manager), it showed under Public Records - 1 and no score change.I just checked it today and now it says: Public Records - 0. That's nice but my score still didn't change. Is it going to get updated you guys think? I mean... I thought judgements were huge score factor. Just a little confused here....I am hoping for maybe 10 points increase? Is it doable?
kb9tbq
How old was the judgment? The older information is on your credit report the less, it is contributing to the credit scoring.Example would be that a 30 day late a month ago would hurt your score more then a collection account 5 years ago...Like that, usually after 2 years, it starts to have less bearing on the score. creditmess
well that would explain then.... it was filed in 1998 so its old....but still I am happy because when I talked to the Mortgage Lender they told me that I have to take care of the judgement first before they can do anything... well I did I was really hoping for nice score hike oh well....at least its gone... kb9tbq
That is the same thing I did with a few of DH's medical collections, lol Just took care of them The reason lenders are worried about judgments, is because they don't want nothing of that sort being able to came back and put a lein against the title of the house.Just for your information on that matter,
