edubb007
I pulled MyFico scores for all three for mortgage contention and got a little surprise.TU was dead on w. 650EX was 601 vs. CredEx 608EQ was 597 vs. EQgold 620So I am now wondering who is more accurate. I mean I am happy with my scores in comparisn to the 483,495 ans 503 when I started. I have tons of new credit that has to age and two accounts i know I can win in the next few months to R1 status. So things are definitely looking up. I also have a PR I am settling for no more than 1/2 and deletion. Once I figure out how the landlord can have the court remove this and not make it " Satisfied " then I will approach the LL. Is there a way to say who's more accurate. i mean if I buy these reports I want the real score! Any ideas???
almost_there
From what I have heard, whether more accurate or not, banks use FICO. I see my PG score everyday(provided by EQ), but I don't rely on it. I checked my FICO score before I did any real disputing and I am tempted to check it again now that I've had some deletions, but I think I will wait until I've paid my balances down more, at least one more billing cycle. FICO scores aren't cheap when you want all 3 for 2 people, but after I make even more progress on my credit repair/rebuild I will gladly spend the money to see how far I've come. I have a few months to work on things yet before we go to get a home loan, so I'm not sweating the scores right now.Short answer: Trust FICO over FAKO, but work to make both of them higher 8)

edubb007
I understand the FAKO's from PG and CExp. but I order direct from MyFico and EQgold. I also got my report in the mail and it said 527 as a "SCORE" but buying your FICO from thgem direct I got a 650??? Should I just buy a mortgage FICO report from somewhere to get the true scores? I see a few place offer that!
almost_there
Wow! That is quite a difference in scores I don't know what to tell you about that one. If buying a house is your motivation, maybe a mortgage score report is the way to go for you. Either way, good luck to you.
