I've read these before and can't believe how few complaints are reported. This report is to Congress folks. Only 700 complaints about failure to verify? There have been 700 posts on that topic here this month. If I were a member of Congress I sure wouldn't feel compelled to enact tougher laws!

Many, many people are discourage, disueded, even scolded not to file a report by some who work in the government agencies who are supposed to enforce the statutes and protect the public.

When those tactics fail, you may be sent a letter, by that government agency, that may state that there is nothing they can do. And, it will advise you to get your own lawyer.

The reasons for this may vary, but I urge all to keep trying and get the name of each and every person you speak with.
