cld7
I did a search for the collection agency that I am in the process of filing suit. I found the address. However, I found that the company is NOT IN GOOD STANDING with the State of Texas. Does this help my case against them and how do I use this information.Regards,CLD7
kimber6337
Call the Secretary of State in Austin and ask them. It might be that there bond expired or they have injuctions against them for other lawsuits. If they don't know or can't tell, try the Attorney General's office.the SOS link for Tx is http://www.sos.state.tx.us/index.htmlReply back and let me know what that mean's I'd be interested to know... cld7
The CA did not pay their franchise tax. I will have to check further to see if they are doing business illegally in Texas.
