Anonymous
This CA take the cake. They are Collecting on behalf of a dentist in TX, they are in TN, I am in SC.I was going through some old mail while packing my STBXs stuff. I found a letter from this agency. It was titled "Intention to Sue" It told me that I had only a couple of days to respond or they would file. They would turn this over to their atty and use all their rights under the law to collect this debt! yadda yadda. This letter was dated January 18, 2001. Hmmm. It is now May 2002. They never filed it. Should I sue? They are still reflecting an $1100 bal on this acct. (would pay for the bill LOL) [Edit by SCMom on Wednesday, June 12, 2002 @ 05:46 PM]
Anonymous
This is just another example of the CA’s scare tactics. Go debt validation and follow the steps provided. Good record keeping. Make sure you send it certified.
