Is it time to sue 7 year expired 5/02

Recommended Posts

I am a newbie. I am ready to sue Midland Credit. To make a long story short I had a credit card with Newport News back in 94. I made my last payment 4/95, Newport News verified this information for me. When I pulled my credit report I was shocked to find that Newport News and the Midland credit the collection account for Newport News were still on my EXQ file. On my TU file the only account listed was the Midland credit collection account. I disputed the account EXQ deleted the info, but TU verified the account. I know I have a case because the 7 years was up in May if this year. How much money do you think I can actually win in this case?

Ah yes, good old Midland Credit. I had the same problem with them. Sent them a debt validation letter and I didn't get any response. Sent them the second notice last week.

Dispute the line with the CRA's. Experian deleted the Midland account as did Equifax. Trans Union says they verified it. Now I'll deal with TU on my terms and I guarantee they'll remove it too.
