experian

Recommended Posts

Hello

I have followed the advice that I received here and it worked. I would like to thank everyone for the help. :)

Now I have a problem with experian. I have a credit card charge off from 1987 that they refuse to delete and the account was bought by some acquistion company. experian says that they are not going to delete it and since it was transfered it will stay on my report until 2010. They had the nerve to say that was THEIR policy. I told the jerk that I don't care what YOUR policy is, Federal law says that you have to delete it after seven years it's been 14. I would like to know what I need to do to sue them. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thank You

That's total BS. I'd get on with the process and sue their butts! I can't believe the willful negligence which goes on!

Thanks for the reply.

I am going to stick it to them. They just don't get it but they will soon. I told them that they are going to delete it, but it would be cheaper for them to do it on their own than having to go to court, pay me and court cost. They don't have a chance in h__l and they know it!!! But why do they put people through it???

I am going to order your book and spank 'em with it. :D

I may have to sue Experian also. They are reporting a tradeline(Wells Fargo) on my credit report despite the fact that Wells Fargo does not have me in their system. I called Wells Fargo today to try to get them to change what they are reporting and the two people I talked to (A Customer Rep and her Supervisor)could not pull me up on the system. These people have the same access as their corporate office. Just a fews days ago Experian sent me a letter stating that they verified the info on my credit report. I wonder how could they have done that if Wells Fargo themselves can not find an account under my SS# or the Account # showing on my credit report? The supervisor at Wells Fargo is sending me a letter stating that they do not have me in their system and that they are unaware of how Experian could have verified the info. When I get the letter I am going to send Experian a scathing letter asking them to delete the tradeline or send me the name and phone number of who verified this info on my report.
