Class Action Suit against CSC

Recommended Posts

For anyone interested, I would seriously like to begin gathering information from other posters and members about their troubles and violations from CSC. The Eddlemen, Combs, and Latterner law firm in Chicago will do a class action for people like us and take it on contingency I found out. And CSC is WAY OVERDUE for one. But they only do class action suits. If you've never been to their site, you should go there. I've never seen more info on the FDCPA in my life, court cases, examples, everything. It's edcombs.com, go check it out.

Anyway, I'm sick of CSC. I've had enough of their crap. EVERYTHING we have disputed w/ them that has come off of our TU and EX reports, "magically" gets verified w/ CSC. They don't try to verify anything. I think they just go call Equifax and ask them if that's what the OC/CA sent and try to pass this off as a verification. I'm serious about this, I don't think they're doing anything on the disputes!!!

They are WAY out of line, and are just a rogue CRA out there running around loose w/ no one calling them on the carpet. Equifax is using CSC as a front so they can continue to keep things on peoples reports, and if they do happen to sue, they'll have to sue CSC so that Equifax themselves never get sued. Good ploy, huh?

Anyone else interested?

I think I would be willing to post a page on CIC listing all of the class actions suits which CIC members are participating in so they can collect other people. All I'll need is the contact information and a brief summary of what they are about. Sometimes I've gotten some strong response from such a page.

You want email about them or do you want us to post them here? I'm involved in one against OSI/Gulfstate/Sherman Acquisitions that's just getting off the ground.

OK...

I'm in a group that is working on a class-action suit against OSI/Gulfstate/Sherman.

OSI/Gulfstate has put AT&T Broadband and Sprint collection accounts on a LOT of people's credit reports, including mine. I had an AT&T collection account on my CR, and I've never had service with AT&T Broadband. The class-action isn't only for those who have AT&T or Sprint collections on thier report, though.

Sent validation, they sent a deletion letter apologizing for the inconvenience. They then re-inserted under Sherman Acquisitions, an affiliate. Added interest, and in most cases, re-aged the account.

We have the attorneys, we're just gathering people. Anyone who's not in on this yet can e-mail me at akawaalien@hotmail.com and I'll put them in touch with the Class Action Leader.
