Capepuffin
I finally found a lawyer in RI. to take my case on a contigency basis. Were going to Federal Court in Boston! I was so concerned that I would have to do this myself in court (and I would have too!) This board is so great! Thank you to everyone that posts! I have learned more in the past week here on this board than I have in the past year searching on the internet. I am addicted!!!! The only concern the lawyer had was the 1 year statute of limitations for all of the CA's violations. So please make sure if your going to sue that you do it before a year is up from your last contact you had with your CA. I will keep everyone posted as to what happens. georgiaboy
Cape, if everything works out right for you, and the atty is a good one, you may want to place his name and contact info here in the forum so others in RI can use him as well, providing he dosnt mind, and Kristy dosnt mind. Capepuffin
Thanks! Yes if he works out I will let you all know. I am actually in Mass., but this lawyer is liscensed in both RI. and MA. He actually specializes in consumer law! I am so thankful!!! He said that Federal court would be quicker than superior court. We would have a date and a jury trial within the year. Also he said that the judges in federal court are more apt to follow the law and not their personal feelings.
