demoncasterouter
Need to talk to someone who has filed in Texas state court before. Got 3 suits to file next week, and I have to do it now!
Jackal
If you are filing for less than 5000.00 go down and file in whatever JP precinct you are in. They have all the paperwork there for you. The sheriff's office in your county will serve for you if it islocal, bu they do not guarantee service. You can find a private process server on the internet if you are suing someone from out of town...
demoncasterouter
No, the small claims judges have the: "If these debts are yours, Im closing the case" syndrome. I don't need to lose, I need to win. So, I'm gonna go to real court. I just need to talk to someone who has filed in Texas state court.
TexasLawyer
Did you file yet? Small claims courts and J.P. courts in Texas are very different, even though they are held by the same judge.
