I filed in FEDERAL court today!

Recommended Posts

I just wanted to let you all know that today I filed a class action lawsuit in Boston Federal court against the CA and their attorney. Also, I have several other complaints against both and are filing those seperately in Federal court. My attorney in RI. contacted another attorney in IL. and now both are handeling this case. A total of 4 lawyers involved. All of them are very experienced in consumer law. They say that it is a really strong case. Thanks for everyones support and knowledge in this area. I will keep everyone posted as to what happens.

I filed two seperate suits one against the CA, for about 15 violations of the FDCPA and the other against their attorney, that they hired to collect a debt. The attorney's have 3 areas of violation of the FDCPA. If the court accepts this class action suit against the attorneys, others who have been served letters from these attorneys, and were violated, will also be able to get in on the suit. The attorney's letters have many violations of the FDCPA in them. My attorney consulted with other attorneys in different states and they all overwhelmingly agreed that this class action suit should be filed. My husband would be the Class Action'Representative' for all of the people named in this suit. We would not divulge peoples names or personal information. I want to speak with my lawyer because I don't want to divulge anything to soon, that I shouldn't. I can't give names yet until I ask him. I don't want to jeopordize this case. Anyways, the court has to accept this class action suit. I just filed it. It is 34 pages long! I will keep you posted.
