Flyingifr
For anyone who has been following my posts about Sherman cquisitions, I just finished negotiations with them and they caved in. In oder to avoid the Class Action suit I was threatening, they are paying ME $1,000 to go away, plus clearing my credit file of their trade line, AND, if they ever show up in my CB file again, another $1000.See, it CAN be done. LadynRed
Wow.. KEWL !! I'm dealing with these dirtbags myself on 2 accounts. These mindless idiots keep calling my cell phone when I've told them its a cell phone and they cannot call me on it. I'm writing a letter to the FTC for their opinion on this issue, since it does cost me $/minutes when they use my cell phone to call me for THEIR collection calls. These dipsticks will be out of luck in a few weeks anyway, I'm changing my cell phone number, my home phone number will be changed and unlisted and my home address will be different ... and gee.. I'm NOT giving ANY of these cretins any of that info

sarahtel
this is great news! congratulations!i've been wondering how to get rid of these fools myself. everytime i dispute with the CRAs, it gets deleted and then within days the same account is up again through either osi or gulfstate, or if something was listed as osi or gulfstate, then they put it up under sherman. and now they've supposedly verified with EX (will be checking on that tomorrow). this is just such BS. sorry to hijack, but: to whomever was working on a class action suit and asked for people to join in, please contact me. i emailed someone quite a while back and never got a response.but again, congratulations on the victory!
