cowboy72
I got a credit report with the totally wrong date of birth on it. When I disputed it they changed it, but did'nt do anything about the accounts I disputed. Should I send them a letter asking them to show how my date of birth changed? DocDon
Has it been 30 days since you filed the disputes? Changes of address, and other personal information can be done right over the phone instantly. You're dealing with two separate issues here. cowboy72
Dispute was last done in early FEB and they did'nt change anything. Two weeks ago I sent off debt validation letters. So now I'm waiting to see what is next.
DocDon
So then I'll assume you received a letter in March showing the items you disputed were "verfied as accurate"? If it's only a matter of a couple late pays you're dealing with, you might try writing a goodwill letter directly to the OC.
