Anonymous
i was just wondering if you can report the cb's for not investigating when you asked them to. most of mine is about inquirys and i have already contacted everyone that has pulled my file and there are about 9 that didnt. also we received 3 credit cards in the mail back in december for which we never applied for. the creditors did remove the accounts and cancelled the cards but there inquiryt is still on there and equifax is the main one ..they want investigate it b/c of permissable purpose. all the company's i dont even know them and i sure have not had any business with them so how can they say permissable purpose. shouldnt the creidtors have to prove it. i am very upset and dont know what to do. should i turn the businesses in to the bbb or will they handle it or not. they might think i am a quack since there are so many of them. i am totally lost about this and i think it is so wrong. thanks for any advice Robin
smogtek
I sicked the BBB on about 89 CAs, so why not sick them on a credit bureau? They are a business just like everyone else. The more complaints we lodge with the BBB, FTC, state's AGs, they better chance we have that perhaps, maybe (yeah, I know it's a long shot)someone in power will look into the way the all do business. Can't remember who said it, but it goes something like this: "All it takes for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing".
