TJB8 Posted August 15, 2002 Report Share Posted August 15, 2002 hello, i have been pushed to the edge with capital one and need some advice. i disputed a account that is not mine with them and they wrote back saying they want me to sign this form 3 times andto get it notirized along with a copy of my s.s. card and driver's lic. i called them and told them i will not send them this info. how do you think identity fraud happens in the first place somebody gets your personnal info.they said well that is what you have to do just to get us to investigate and it will take 60 days and hung up. iam about to file suit because i know they have no eviedence that this is my account. what counts can i sue for and i would appreicate any other info.on this subject.
