Trilivonel
Is there time limits on how long a lien can be on bank accounts? Can funds be seized before a default judgment is vacated? I live in NYS and was wondering because I thought I have one year to vacate a judgment but funds were seized in less than a month after a restraining notice was mailed to one of my banks (Chase). The other (Washington Mutual) specifically stated that no funds will be deducted until a Levy's was issued. As of 5/23, the funds are still there but the lien is there also. Thanks for any information given.
sisflomi
I think when they freeze your assets you have to file a motion within so many days objecting to it. Call your local court house and ask what to do.
