Transunion - letter stating things have been previously verified even though I disputed by other means

Experian - Almost the same thing a form letter saying already verified.

Equifax - nothing yet

Seems like they are just sending out this response to CHOD ...Hope not

Keep on em

Yeah, I got a letetr from TU today, same thing, already verified, this is frivolous, will not reinvestigate unless you can provide information.

Last time I got one of those I sent one back basically stating it was not my job to supply information it was theirs, jsut taking a chance. Got two deletes back.

Hey PSGuy, I am having the same problem with Experian also. I sent in proof, that I don't owe money on this particular account, and they still refused to investigate and delete it! Looks like Experian will get a file suit coming to them pretty soon

Just checked my Equifax online and they did delete one collection account but also deleted a mortgage account that was paid as agreed and a 2nd mortgage that was paid as agreed that were the two strongest things on my report. Its almost like they are punishing me for disputing these were never mentioned. As a result even with the deletion my score went down 37 points...(scream)

All green cards are back.

EX said that I did no give enough info to investigate, so I sent another CRRR with the id info stating that they got the proof in the previous communique.

EQ has not responded and nothing is marked in dispute. I am waiting for the 30 days to end and I will demand deletion.

TU no response. They don't mark indispute onine, so I am not sure of the status. Once again, I will wait the 30 days then demand deletion. :D

Oh, 1 more CA gone from EX from a dispute that I started prior to CHOD.

I did one of those online dispute forms to all 3 Credit Reporting Agencies on 12.2.02.

I received a new credit report with one of the judgements deleted.

At the same time I did a DV to AFNI collection agency.

I received a letter from them stating they will notify all three CRA's to delete because they could not validate :)

So sorry to hear that. TU did that to me last month - you can ask the OC to put the info back on if it was correct. Isn't there something in the FCRA we could use to make the CRA put them back on?!!! :notsure:

I disputed several items on each of the three CRs starting in May and again a few months later, then just again this month -- with only one response. Experian sent me the usual “verified” report on three accounts that I told them were fraudulent. I even reported the accounts as stolen ID with some lady on the phone and was assured they would investigate each one. Nothing, nada, reply. I have concluded that they just don’t care and are in the pockets of the collection agency mob.

So, I would say my latest attempt to get information from them was in vain.

Vonnie,

The same thing happened to me with AFNI. I sent them a DV letter and they sent me a reply that they couldn't validate so they were removing. EQ and EXP have already removed but of course TU being slow as the dickins has not. I just faxed the letter from AFNI to TU yesterday, so hopefully they will be gone from this report some time next week. They did delete my paid judgment so one this CA is gone, my TU report will be clean!! Unfortunately, EXP still has 3 derogs and EQ still has 2 derogs. EQ refuses to do anymore investigations and EXP is investigating my judgment. So we will see what happens...

Vonnie,

Thanks for the congrats! I guess that the same goes for you also with AFNI! EQ said that they would not reinvestigate anything else (only 2 derogs left-Paid judgment and Paid collection for $63 nonetheless) because they have already been investigated once. What I did was for the paid collection was use the "nutcase" letter from DOC over at CNet (sorry Kristy!!) and the way that that works is to NOT dispute during this period. So they wouldn't reinvestigate my judgment so as far as CHOD goes for EQ, I have not had much success. I have had a lot of success with TU, EXP still up in the air!

Sent 5 CMRRR to EX on Dec 2. Got the green cards back on Dec 11.

Of the 5, one was a duplicate of one of the other 4 and I noticed yesterday on CreditExpert that my public records went from 5 to 4, so at least they read the letter. Results are due Jan 4, so my fingers are crossed.

Good luck to the rest of you.
