Anonymous
Hello all, just want to share the word that I disputed a $77.00 charge with a CA and got a letter back during CHOD period (Dec 31) that it will be removed from my credit report within 4-6 weeks. No lip service from the CA, no resistance, no questions asked. My only question is, does the 4-6 weeks sound fair, or is this period violating any FCRA or other credit law? Kind of disappointed that I won't have to take them to court, would've have liked to rattle their cage a little harder...darn, but very happy with this result anyways. Two, actually.OSI/Gulfstate: "we will delete immediately and we apologize for any inconvenience we have caused you"faxed such nice letters to CRA's, OSI/Gulfstate deleted.Happy New Year! OSI/Gulfstate has sold your account to Sherman Acquisitions, and they've put two new entries on your EXP report!
