Results from first round...it's working

Just thought I'd post an update. I started this journey on 3/14/03 (only 1 month but it seems like 6 lol) working on DH's report & mine. Originally pulled EQ for him & all 3 for me.

DH has had 3 deletions so far and today I am faxing a letter to EQ because they are past 30 days on 12 other items that we disputed via CMRRR so hopefully they will remove those & his EQ will be almost done. We have since pulled his EXP & TU & have disputed but are still waiting for results.

For me, I have had 2 deletions on EXP. They verified 2 and updated an AU account from $868 to a $0 balance but showed past due $868 as of 3/2003(yet the account was charged off in 1998) so my score dropped 11 points. I've tried calling and can't get anywhere on this one so I have sent a planetfeedback to the OC to have this removed. I have 5 things in dispute with EQ so my score has gone up to a 667 (started at 599 then dropped 2 weeks later to a 587 now up to 667 kinda nice even if it is short lived) Still waiting on results from EQ & TU.

I would like to thank everyone here for all of the help and suggestions given. In the beginning it all seemed so overwhelming but after reading & rereading most of the posts I think that I am finally starting to get the hang of things. It has become kind of an obsession to me and DH.

Thank you!!! :)

That is great and good luck with the good will letter.

Yes; know what you mean about getting hooked

This is my second home; have not got my DH hooked like I am; but definately gets his interest from time to time. But of course he lives with me and has to listen to me talk credit reporting every day, lol. Just lucky he has not killed me yet :boggle: for the overkill. lol

Keep up the good work - and your journey to self empowerment. ;)

LOL, thats so funny! Every morning when I get up, I head straight for the computer to see if anyone has posted anything new, or if I have any emails answering my questions from the night before....I feel like such a nerd

 but I LOVE IT!!

My DH doesnt understand much of the whole process, he never has any idea what im talking about!

I have NO idea how I came across this website, but it has seriously changed my life.

I found that with a little *elbow grease* I could make something that has been affecting me negatively for a long time, dissappear.

Im now in the swing of things and starting to see positive results. Its awesome and it makes me happy. We thought that we were going to have to wait another 2-5 years before we bought our first home, and now things are a little bit more hopeful.

Many thanks to everyone who has helped!

LOL!! My DH was probably ready to kill me from listening to me talk about it until I got him to sit down and read the posts on this site. Now he understands what I was talking about. First thing we both do in the morning is check this site for new posts/responses and then pull privacyguard. Usually if he has to work at 5:30am I'll get up when he leaves that way I can spend about 1-1 1/2 hours looking around before the kids get up.

I really need to get a life! :p

Happy Easter to you all! :)

Too late for me; bird dog the site all day :p

Think about credit reporting all day & night - just keep running in circles thinking & re-thinking different means to do things for given circumstances.

I am long gone past rehab at this point. :p

Happy Easter all :-)

Cape --

I'm in the same boat and I just started here. This can definitely become an obsession ... I've been on since about 3am (gosh that's embarrassing!). I'm trying to read and understand as much as possible. It's wonderful that this site exists ... it's good to be able to read about the experiences of actual people.

Happy Easter to you all!
