admin
DON'T DO IT! They've been around for awhile and are pretty slick, but you can do everything you need on your own. Just stick around and read up.
ghacorp
Myvesta, based in Rockville, MD is more of a behavior modification firm as opposed to a good debt consolidator. They are supposedly non-profit and charge $2900.00 for their services which they state is about $1000.00 more than filing a Chapter 13. I think Chapter 13 would be a better option to putting the debt situation in check. With the new BK bill pending, Myvesta will probably do a lot more business as credit counseling will be required prior to filing.
equislee
I unfortunatly tried Myvesta and yes they are more interested in controlling all of your finances and setting up a special account were you even direct deposit your paychecks. Their tactics quite frankly scared me and I even asked them directly how was I to know with them having all of my account information that they wouldn't up and transfer money right out of my account without me even knowing it and they never replied to it. I backed out and am now trying to get my money back and I think I will follow the advice of CIC and file a complaint with FTC and BBB. Lee
