Anonymous
I have been with Ameridebt for 6 months now, and it has made little difference with my debt. After reading the articles on CIC, I find that's no surprise to most everyone here. I only wish I had found this site 6 months ago. The past day, I have been reading the articles but am still at a loss as how to go about getting out of Ameridebts program. What is the best way to do this? (If there is an article specifically on this, please point me to it ) I just feel extremely overwhelmed with all this new information, and want to make sure I go about this the right way. Thanks
kb9tbq
http://www.debt-consolidation-credit-repair-service.com/cgi-local/cutecast/cutecast.pl?forum=19&thread=5123Here is a great link by Calawyer; it will at least educate you on the dead falls of using credit counseling companies. You should be able to back out of this agreement; but it will most likely come at a cost.Like a termination fee; also you may find your creditors to become harder to deal with. Some may even default your interest rate back up to what it was prior to the credit counseling. So you should really call them first to see what you can work out in place of the credit counseling service.Best of luck with your situation; try to help if you have further questions about this.
