Anonymous
How many horror stories are there out there about CCCS? If I knew, or if they had told me that by working with them, it would count against me just as long and as bad as if I declared bankruptcy, I would have declared bacnkruptcy. I worked with them back in '94. Sure, they lowered my interest rates, and thus my monthly payments, but my payments to them only went to pay off the interest on my debts, and not the actual balance. BIG WHOOP! It is still on my credit report, that I had worked with CCCS. How long does that stuff stay on there. After seeing the mistake I got into by working with them, I disloved my relationship after maybe 6 to 9 months and took on the creditors on my own, and that was the best descion. admin
Unfortunately, 7 years. That really sucks. On the other hand, I have had some people tell me that once you go all the way through CCCS, the creditors sometimes remove the lates. Of course I only heard this from one person.
