Car Repo, Co Signer filed bankruptcy

Recommended Posts

Bought a car i volunary returned it because it was a piece of crap! Hit the dashboard winshield wipers came on, oil filter kept falling off, head gaskets blown, cv joints replaced 3 times, etc... etc... etc...

It is showing up on my credit report as involuntary repossesion, any use to try and dispute this?

My main question is my mother co signed for the car, shortly after i returned the car she filed for bankruptcy and included it in her bankruptcy filing.

Can they still try to collect from me?

Should it still be listed on my credit report?

is there any avenues i may be able to try to get it removed from my report? It is the last major thing on my report and i want it off!
