Only the original creditor can sue?

Recommended Posts

I am sorry. New here, and *thought* I had cut and pasted from another post...

I read a post elsewhere here, and on another web site a while back about only the original creditor being able to sue in court, but have not been able to find any substantiating iformation to back this up.

I am assuming this just means the *owner* of the account can sue, rather than a collection agency?

Can someone please point me in the direction of documentation if this is the case?
