Suing Consumer Credit Counselors of Atlanta

Recommended Posts

I was enrolled with CCC of Atlanta last year and from what I could tell, they did not pay a lot of my creditors I included on my list. I am trying to have them send me a list of who they supposedly paid. If I can prove they did not pay the people they agreed to pay, should I take this into legal matters. I know I paid them more than $1000 dollars.

Did you sign an agreement or contract with CCCS ? What were the terms as far as who they would pay, when, and whatever else they said they would do for you. Does it detail where your money goes from your first payment to them onward ? Most of these places are bad news, they take your money for months and hold it, don't pay any creditors, then, when the creditors make charge-off noises, CCCS will attempt to settle with the creditors, but your credit is thoroughly wrecked already and they're doing you no favors.

If you have something in writing from them, and they did not perform as outlined, then you can, conceivably, get them for breech of contract.
