sleety_girl
I thought that if a debt was charged off, that was the end of it. Can a creditor still enforce their arbitration clause if the debt is charged off? I thought at that point it was simply sold to a collector for pennies on the dollar who would then try to collect on their own?Any idea what is up here? bingo
Charge off doesn't mean collection activity has to cease. ALso, creditors don't always sell charged off debt. Often times it is assigned for a period of time and then returned to the creditor.
