Vacate default judgment

Recommended Posts

I was sued and given a default judgment for a $2700 debt from a vocational training school on August 1, 2001. I agreed to a $50.00 payment twice a month, but have missed it a couple of times. I sent an overpayment for the times I missed payments. anyways, I recently received a "Vacate the default Judgment" issued by the OC. Kinda strange, I thought only the defendants requested motion to vacate. By the way it has been ordered by the justice of the peace.

What should do? or

Be afraid of?

That is pretty decent - will mean the judgment never existed and can be forwarded to the CRA with request to delete the listing.

Would contact the court house to see what more you need to do with this to complete and make it a done deal.

Congrats.
