cybercrusader
I just got back the results of CRA disputes I started last month. 6 deletions and counting.... Incredibly, several creditors and CA's did not respond. I guess NO RESPONSE = DELETION. Anyway, I have a few questions. A few accounts were verified as accurate (yeah, right). These accounts have been disputed with CA's either recently or as far back as two years ago! There is no mention of it being in dispute. Is it time to send another letter directly to CRA's? How strong should this letter be?Another account I disputed came back as being sold to a CA I have no knowledge of. This account was subsequently sold two other times. I know this because the last purchaser sued me. Why is the original purchaser listed and not the current one? Finally, can an item that was deleted get reinstated?C>
bingo
You have the right to request the CRA's investiagtion procedure. If they don't provide it, it is a FCRA violation. They may re-insert but, must notify you 5 days prior to re-inserting. Again, a FCRA violation.
