Wyndo
What's the latest on Innovis?http://www.creditinfocenter.com/pressreleases/Innovis.shtmlI went to their website and found the "FailSafe" area, but absolutely no info on how to obtain a copy of my report. I did find a phone number (1-877-INNOVIS or rather 1-877-466-6847) and it can't connect (I get one of those fast "busy" beeps that means the call couldn't go through). Is anything being done about this right now? Has the FTC gotten involved? How worried should I be, since I will be looking to buy a home in the next 6 months?Worse yet, they claim to be "FCRA Compliant" - ACK! You can't even figure out how to request a copy of your own credit report...[Edit by Wyndo on Thursday, September 12, 2002 @ 01:06 PM]
Wyndo
Okay, the 800-540-2505 worked... I got this from the info posted here, but didn't find it on the Innovis web site for some reason. It simply gave the instructions on obtaining a credit report, which can only be done by mail, and only by providing copies of your DL or a phone bill. Seems a shame to have to give them $9 (it's just funding them even further), but, that's the procedure. I'm going to send off for mine.Anybody else received their "Innovis" report? Did you find that there were problem entries, and that you were starting all over again with yet another CRA? Anonymous
I got my Innovis report (for free since I am a MD resident) and it had exactly 1 account on it. A credit card from FNB Brookings. All information was accurate and up to date. If someone pulled this report, I would get approved...I just someone used them
Wyndo
Mine arrived, and it shows 3 accounts... my Mastercard through First National Bank of Brookings, and two Ford Motor Credit entries (one vehicle paid off, one I've had for a year). Looks like most places aren't yet reporting to Innovis.
