kimber6337
AND, Texas folks - Gov Perry was on a local radio show yesterday and said that he is bringing before the next special session to stop the Insurance Companies from using credit reports for premium costs! If you guys don't know, Texans are up to their ears in home and auto premiums and they started using credit scores to price that mess last year. To which when State Farm pulled our credit we were promptly DROPPED.All this mold remediation and Farmer's Ins pulling out of Texas has increased many homeowners policies by 2x. Anonymous
I'm in Dallas, and yeah, I've seen my car insurance double since I moved here four and a half years ago. Yep, they definitely use the credit scoring to up your premiums; your credit should have nothing to do with the price of your policy...it's an extra gouge you on the way by tactic.
