irishmalemark
Ok gang here is my question.I just received teh results from my TU and EXP verification and I got 9 derogs deleted from TU and 5 from EXP!!! I am pretty excited not bad for teh first shot.My question is this: SInce we are so close to CHOD should I request the procedure for verification or simply find another error and dispute again? I don't want to blow this great opportunity to benefit from teh CRA's influx of requests this time of year!Irish
illegal_alien
I am getting pre-CHOD anxiety.. Can CRA reinsert the account again if CA reports it? I have sent debt validation letter to CA about 3 weeks ago or so. No reply yet. If I send dispute letter to CRA and lets hope they do remove my account (keeping my fingers crossed), can they re-insert again? What's the point of doing CHOD then? Give some knowledge to this first time CHODer!!!!
Swede
The point of CHOD is to inundate the understaffed CRA's with disputes during a time that's already shortened by holidays and focus is elsewhere than verifying old bad account.Unfortunately they can re-insert but the CRA's must inform you of the re-insertion within 5 business days. creditfix
When sending the CHOD disputes into the CRAs, do I need to include their file/confirmation number from my credit report or can I leave it off?
SnowWhite832
Just for my own thinking here, during CHOD. If a challange or 'not mine' or validation deal thru one of the Credit Reporting Agencys is sent, and they dont respond in the 30 day thingie.(I have my 'not mine' letter out there , or one of them so far) Is the next thing ...if you get no reponce...to send a copy of first letter, with copy of reciept of mailing back to them? with a umm 'you didnt validate within the 30 days so please remove this from my report' thingie?I mean to say, is that the regulation or whatever.sorry if this question is repetisious (howver you spell that)ha!
