If it has been sold, then it will go under the Credit Account Information. I hope that that is what you are talking about. Even if an account is sold, as long as it was delinguent at the time of sale it still falls under the FDCPA and they're still debt collectors. That should still be in the collections section. Granted I've never really thought much about this but it doesn't make sense that it would be in the creditor information. Doesn't mean that the ones that bought it are not DCs.
