Anonymous
I tried signing up for the Experian 30 day free trial membership of Credit Manager, and I got a message back immediately that they could not process this request online now and that I would have to send 2 proofs of address to the address they listed in order to activate. I was just trying to sign up for a free credit report and to monitor online for 30 days, Is this going to count as a hard inquiry on my CR. I tried twice. Anonymous
You may want to check to see if you have any type of "fraud alert"listed on your report if you are still denied "online access." The "alert" could be from a "personal statement" you made regardingyour credit usage which they have not deleted. Contact Experians general number and ask to speak to someone in their Fraud Unit. kimber6337
Nah - that happens to me. They are really good about getting with it though - You just need to fax it in, no biggie.I'll post the fax number and the lady's name that you send it to tomorrow. Send a copy of a phone bill and DL with your name and SSN wrote down on the paper... they usually get your access in about 6 hours from what i've seen (I'm doing repair for some friends now also)
