Mel
They sent letters for each dispute I had. They say they can't investigate cause I did not tell thell them specifically why the info was inaccurate! They want detailed reasons.. Then they can begin..One letter I explained that they verified & updated in Nov. and the balance was still incorrect and I asked them to send me the info used to verify it last time!(didn't get that) Are they just plain stupid.!! Each of my letters had a reason. Sending them a response tomorrow. But do you suggest I do this one per envelope or maybe a couple each letter? And I guess this will add 15days.or just start over with 30? I would like to call them and discuss this, would this be a bad idea? Just how much info do they need. This is for my husband. In Sept. when I came across this site and sent MY first letters off I had no trouble. I guess it may have something to do with CHOD. And last thing, should I refer to my first letter to them as for the date? Thanks for any help
Larry357
I think that it is there job t overify everything. I would send them a letter letting them know that they have 30 days from the initial letter to verify EVERYTHING that they are reporting. All the information has to be correct. Not just some of it. Also remind them that there is a $1000 fee for every one that is incorrect. Also let them know that this letter has no further information so no addtional time should be needed from the first letter.
